After attending the first Community Powerdown Conference in Birnam in May, Peter has begun his work with Alness Transition Town Group. He has spent the last few weeks meeting various people to try and determine how best to help them reduce their carbon footprint.

Transition Town Alness are delighted to be part of the Community Energy Scotland "Community Powerdown Project" consortium. The project will enable us to employ a part time Powerdown Officer for two years to progress various energy saving and carbon reduction projects in Alness.
