Did you fill in an energy survey? PDF Print E-mail

Households across Alness received something important in the post over the last two weeks of November. Alness Transition Town Group has been working with the Energy Saving Scotland advice centre for the Highlands and Islands to send out a Home Energy Check form. The Energy Saving Trust’s survey is a series of questions on the type of house you live in and how it is heated that is used to create a personalised energy report.

Our society can be quite wasteful, but the "reduce, reuse, recycle" message is becoming more widely accepted and understood. Alness Transition Town Group have a few ideas on how we can minimise the waste we generate and better reuse and recycle. Remember that you can vote on which of our ideas are of most interest to you by taking our survey (Click Here to take survey). We are lucky enough to already have Ross-shire Waste Action Network working on these issues and they are the people to get in touch with for advice on recycling and composting (www.rowan.org.uk).
